Welcome to NC Energy Forum!
February 25, 2010
I became chairman of the North Carolina Energy Forum because I am scared for our country and I am concerned our elected officials are not focused upon the important issues facing our economy today, which include energy security and protecting against higher energy prices.
North Carolina’s unemployment rate is more than ten percent today and we continue to lose manufacturing jobs at an alarming rate. Congress is not focused on promoting an effective policy that helps to put North Carolinians back to work and ensuring that we focus on providing energy security for all residents of our great state.
As the chairman of the North Carolina Energy Forum, I want to help educate all North Carolinians to the importance of educating themselves on energy policy and holding our elected officials accountable for their actions and inactions on energy policy. Please join me as a member of the North Carolina Energy Forum.
